Spidey vs. Mr. Hyde pt.2

Had to trush these, didn't have time for better backgrounds, but I did what I could with the figures.

Lara Croft: Tomb Raider 3D

Put on the red & cyan glasses, everyone!

Thanks, Rod Ollerenshaw! This one's for you.

#300

I am happy to announce that over 4 years this blog reached its 300th post.
Let's celebrate it with the best Spider-Man I've ever drawn
(and Mr. Hyde, who was a mandatory addition in the script).

INVISIBLE MONSTERS Movie Poster

A poster for the imaginary film adaptation of one of my favourite novels 'Invisible Monsters' by Chuck Palahniuk, in the style of the '50s trash movie posters.

Alien3

Dog Alien on Scratchbord. 6"x8"
My love for it is only matched by its hostility.

20.000+ PAGEVIEWS!

Hey everyone, thanks for the last 4 years! In that time I got 20 000 clicks on my blog, and I'm awfully grateful for that!
Keep coming!

To celebrate that I will share something that I was not going to, it is J. Scott Campbell's pencils for an Amazing Spider-Man cover that I rendered in Photoshop!

(Flats/color choices by my classmate, Lawrence Shung.)

(Original cover was colored to look like sunset.)

Snow Storm

Abstract inked drawing with one figural part.
I wish I could draw everything like this.

Swamp-Thing 144 p.01-03

Narrative Art assignment, the first 3 pages of Swamp-Thing issue 144, tight pencils.
Yes, it is a midget magician attacking kids with bugs in a church.

Iceman and Nightcrawler

Colors done in Photoshop

Two X-Men in an illustration using analogous colors.

4x11" inks on Bristol

Kéri Tibor - Creatures & Animals Portfolio II.

I made a catalog for my sculptor friend Kéri Tibor about his work from 2012.
I designed the booklet and made most of the photos (except for the Rexes, see full credits below).
More photos about the creative process behind the sculptures on his blog:

His previous catalog available here.

World Champion w/ ZING!

Now that was an interesting venture. Three of us worked on a single picture.

Spider-Man vs. Hobgoblin, part II.

Continuing the chase scene (scroll down for the previous pages).

The end of the story (and the pumpkin bomb).

SYMMETRY / Poison Ivy + Batman & Robin - COLOUR

Final colored page. See inked page below.

Furion (inks)

Inked by friend & classmate Josh Zingerman. Hopefully not the last collaboration.

Mr Basic

or "The Return of the Spider-Sack."
My first short animation that has sound effects added to it.

SYMMETRY / Poison Ivy and Batman & Robin

Inked, 10x16" on Bristol board. Colors coming next week.

Furion

An illustration of one of my own stories. Hopefully one day I will make a whole book or series of it.

Going to be inked by a classmate, Josh Zingerman.

10x15", pencils, on blue-line Bristol.

The Pirates of Dark Water / WRAP-AROUND COVER

Wrap-around cover about one of my favourite cartoons as a child.
This means that the right half of it would be the actual front cover of a magazine, and the left half would be the back of it.
I think this is my most colorful piece, ever.
Inks & pencils on Bristol comic book board, all colors & rendering in Photoshop.

Sandman in Ancient Greece

Two-point perspective study with 4+ figures on the grid for Basic Drawing.
I did not like the pencils so I inked over them, because this drawing deserved more.
Rulers drain me, so I tried to make it more fun by adding a character I like.
